The Intrust Super Premiership NSW Residents side have gone down to their Queensland counterparts 36-6 after a dominant second half display at Suzuki Stadium.

A double to Delouise Hieter early in the second half began the flow of points for Queensland, who were only up by two at the half-time break, while skipper Blake Leary earned man of the match honours.

Despite the score-line, there were some strong showings for the NSW side, including the ever-threatening Moses Leota and reliable workhorse Cheyne Whitelaw, while Dylan Edwards was very efficient at the back.

It was a fast start for the Queensland side, who were able to score first off the back of a brilliant run out of dummy half. Mitch Cronin was then able to pick the ball up from dummy half and take advantage of backtracking defenders when he put Dean Britt through a hole to score.
