The Parramatta Eels are proud to announce our Inaugural Member of the Month for April, 2017 – Michael Formosa.
Michael has been a Member of the Blue & Gold Army for over 10 years and his good mate Simon Tanti nominated him as Member of the Month.
Michael gets to most Eels home games, recently he has begun bringing his son, James to support his beloved Eels.
Simon decided to nominate Michael after a special moment during the Round 4 clash against the Cronulla Sharks which demonstrated his passion and love of the club, but also embodied our Club values of “Integrity, Respect & Excellence”.
During a tough point in the game, Michael’s son began to vent his frustrations. It was here that Michael explained that sometimes in life things don’t go our way, but it is how we react to those decisions that shape us. Michael placed his son on his shoulders and together they clapped both teams off the park. A proud father, supporter and most importantly a man who instils the integrity and respect the Parramatta Eels value and share!
On behalf of the Parramatta Eels, we would like to thank Michael for representing our Club as a Member. We are lucky to have fantastic fans like you. As our Member of the Month Michael will be presented with a personalised player worn signed jersey as he watches the team warm up on field.
