The Parramatta Eels take on the South Sydney Rabbitohs at ANZ Stadium on Friday 26 May in Round 12 of the NRL Telstra Premiership.

Blue & Gold Head Coach Brad Arthur has made just the one change to his side that suffered a 22-16 defeat to the Canberra Raiders with Michael Jennings ruled out through injury, replaced by Brad Takairangi.

Beau Scott, Daniel Alvaro, Kenny Edwards, Siosaia Vave, David Gower, Will Smith, Rory O’Brien and Nathan Davis have been named on an extended bench.

For the Rabbitohs, Head Coach Michael Maguire has welcomed back George Burgess returning from suspension, named on the bench in place of Zane Musgrove who drops back to the reserves list.

That is the lone change to Maguire’s side that suffered a 14-6 defeat to the Melbourne Storm last week.

Historically, the Rabbitohs hold a strong record over the Eels in recent times, claiming nine wins from their past 11 meetings.

However the record is split one game a piece in 2016, including the Eels 30-12 victory at ANZ Stadium in Round 15, 2016 in the last time these two sides met.

Heading into Round 12, the Eels have suffered back to back losses to the Roosters and Raiders, whilst the Rabbitohs are coming off a loss to the Storm, following a victory over the Wests Tigers the week before.

Kick off is at 7:50pm.

Don’t forget that despite this being an away fixture, Parramatta Eels ticketed Members will be able to gain FREE entry as it is the first of our three reciprocal rights matches! Ticketed Members will need to have their Membership card present at the game and will need to enter through Gate C.
