Parramatta Eels forward Suaia Matagi has been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee with Grade One – Tripping following the Eels Round 12 NRL Telstra Premiership clash against the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

The charge is for an incident in the 38th minute of the match on Rabbitohs Anthony Cherrington.

The charge carries a base $1,500 fine, but can be reduced to $1,100 with an early guilty plea.
