The Parramatta Eels are excited to announce today that it has broken its all-time membership record by reaching 24,059 Members for 2017.  

It is the first time in Eels history that the Club has exceeded the 24,000 Member mark and based on current growth the Club is expected to reach its 2017 goal of 25,000 Members

2017 will also mark the Parramatta Eels breaking a fifth consecutive membership record with the biggest membership base in Western Sydney and the third highest in the NRL.

“We are very excited to break our membership record for the fifth year in a row”, said Membership and Merchandise Manager Larissa Paegle.

“We know that there are thousands of passionate Blue & Gold Army Fans around the country. Our aim over the next few years is to ensure we continue to grow our membership base into the biggest in the NRL and one of the biggest in Australian sport.”

“The fact The Parramatta Eels yet again broke a membership record is a testament to the resilience of our fantastic fans.”

This year marks the 70th anniversary of the Parramatta Eels and is a really special moment in the clubs history.

Head Coach Brad Arthur also stated how proud the Eels players and coaches are to be part of another record breaking year for membership  ”We would like to say a big thank you to our passionate and loyal Eels Members for helping us make history in our 70th anniversary year.”

“It’s great to see our Members continue to support us in big numbers each year and it really means a lot to the boys when they look out and see a sea of Blue & Gold in the grandstands.”
