The Parramatta Eels take on the Brisbane Broncos at ANZ Stadium on Friday 21 July in Round 21 of the NRL Telstra Premiership.

For the clash, Blue & Gold Head Coach Brad Arthur has been forced to make one change to his side that came away with a 17-16 victory over the Wests Tigers last week, with Clint Gutherson ruled out for the remainder of the season due to injury.

Bevan French returns to the number one jersey whilst Josh Hoffman returns from injury on the wing.

Arthur has named an extended bench of Daniel Alvaro, Kenny Edwards, Suaia Matagi, Will Smith, David Gower, Peni Terepo, Frank Pritchard and Kirisome Auva'a.

For the Brisbane Broncos, Head Coach Wayne Bennett welcomes back captain Darius Boyd who returns after missing four matches due to a broken thumb.

Following Boyd's inclusion, Kodi Nikorima drops out onto the extended bench, otherwise, his line up that came away 42-12 victors over the Bulldogs last week remains unchanged.

The Eels enter the clash with a strong form line, with four consecutive victories, whilst the third placed Broncos enter the clash with two wins.

Historically, the Broncos hold a strong record over the Blue and Gold in recent times, winning their last three matches by at least 12 boys.

In the last time these two sides met, Round 23, 2016, the Broncos came away 38-16 victors at Suncorp Stadium.

The Broncos have not lost to the Eels in Sydney since 2013.
