Parramatta Eels second-rower Manu Ma’u has entered an early guilty plea for a Grade 1 Shoulder Charge during the Eels’ Round 24 win over the Gold Coast Titans at ANZ Stadium on Thursday 17 August.

Ma’u was charged by the NRL Match Review Committee for a tackle on Titans half Ash Taylor in the 32nd minute of the clash.

The early guilty plea sees Ma’u miss 1 week of the competition (the Eels R25 clash against the Brisbane Broncos) and he will be available for selection for the Eels Round 26 clash against the South Sydney Rabbitohs at ANZ Stadium on Friday 1 September.
