Finals Football Week 1: Melbourne Storm, AAMI Park, Saturday 9th September 4.10pm
After finishing off the season with a strong victory over the Rabbitohs, our boys finished the regular season in 4th position, our highest finish in over 10 years! We will now come up against the Minor Premiers, Melbourne Storm, at AAMI Park on Saturday afternoon in the fight for a home ground advantage in the Preliminary Final.
We are expecting many Members to make the trip south to cheer on the Blue & Gold, so make sure you book for tickets now! Please visit ticketek to purchase your tickets.

Furthermore, our NYC squad will be kicking off their finals campaign at 1.30m on Sunday afternoon at Allianz Stadium against the Sharks. Our boys finished the season off strongly by finishing in 4th position after Fridays come from behind win over the Rabbitohs. Make sure you get out to Allianz Stadium to watch the team as they look to spot their spot in the Preliminary Finals!
Round 26: Member Appreciation Round
We would like to say a massive thank you to our Members who came out to celebrate our Member Appreciation Round on Friday night!
In 2017, The Blue & Gold Army grew to a record breaking 24,501 Members and during our last home game of the season we celebrate with all of those in attendance.
The night was filled with plenty of entertainment, including:
- Our 17 lucky 100% Attendance Award winners who were chosen to cheer the boys onto the field during the pre-game guard of honour with our Member of the Month winners. The lucky 17 & Member of the Month winners will also receive a player worn jersey at the conclusion of the season
- Eels Member Caesar Hard raising the Blue & Gold Army flag
- Our youngest Blue & Gold Members, those born in 2017, were taken on-field during the players warm up for an on-field experience
- Random Eels merchandise and 2017 RLWC ticket giveaways
- Pre-Game player visits in Members Lounge ’47, including Clint Gutherson and Bevan French
- Plus plenty more!

Members Lounge ’47-Round 26
During Round 26, we held another successful Members event In Members Lounge ‘47.
On Friday evening, Members enjoyed:

- We had some ecstatic Members in Members Lounge ‘47 during half-time as we read out our SMS Prize Draw winners
- Our lucky SMS Prize Draw winners received:
- 2017 Rugby League World Cup tickets
- On-field experience for two
- Corporate upgrade for two
- Pre-Match Players Appearance
- Members who were in attendance on Friday evening had the opportunity to meet a number of first-grade players, including Clint Gutherson & Bevan French. The boys dropped into Members Lounge 47 to greet Members and thank them for their support during the 2017 season. Thanks for stopping in guys!

- On Friday we were lucky enough to be entertained by Taga Duo. Taga did a fantastic job in entertaining Members throughout the evening. Hopefully we will see Taga back in Members Lounge 47!
- Live Press Conference Streaming
- Members were able to watch BA and Tim in their post-match press conference on the big screen

- Before our first-grade kick off, Members enjoyed a great variety of FREE food & Members-only bar service in Members Lounge ‘47. This was certainly a great way to kick off a fantastic Friday evening!

- BGA Members who have been with us for over 10 years had the opportunity to find their name on our brand new Loyalty Banner. For those that didn’t have the chance to take a look at the banner, don’t worry! The banner will be back in Members Lounge ’47 next time!
