Last weekend saw the 4th consecutive year the Battle of the West has been played, between the Parramatta and Penrith Junior Leagues.
This is a fantastic concept that sees the Division one Grand Final winning teams from each district, starting with the U9’s through to C Grade play off for the overall champions.
6 games were played on Saturday the 16th out at Windsor Stadium and 5 games played on Sunday the 17th at McCredie Park.
The football played by all teams was very exciting, not to mention a very positive atmosphere supplied from the spectators on hand to cheer on their teams.
