The Parramatta Eels NYC side to take on the Penrith Panthers NYC in the preliminary final on Saturday 23 September at Allianz Stadium has been named by Holden Cup Head Coach Luke Burt.

The young Blue & Gold side progressed straight through to Week Three of the Finals series after defeating the Minor Premiers, the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, in Week One.

Burt has named a 23-man squad for the clash, making one change to his side that came away with a 35-22 victory over the Sharks a fortnight ago, with Troy Dargan ruled out with injury.

Dylan Brown has been named in the halves alongside Dean Matterson.

The winner of this preliminary final will meet the winner of the St George Illawarra Dragons v Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles NYC clash in the Holden Cup Grand Final on 1 October.

Kick off is at 5pm.

Please note, the Eels NYC clash is the second game of a triple header at Allianz Stadium, with the NRL clash between the Sydney Roosters and North-Queensland Cowboys at 7:40pm. The Dragons v Sea Eagles NYC clash kicks off at 2:30pm.
