Parramatta Eels forward Dan Alvaro will be at this week’s NRL Fan Fest at Luna Park.

Sydney’s iconic Luna Park will be transformed into a celebration of Rugby League for a spectacular fan day this Thursday, 28 September ahead of the NRL Grand Final this week.

The special NRL Fan Fest is a free public event and will include appearances from both Grand Final teams as well as other NRL stars.

Date: Thursday 28 September
Time: 11am - 6pm
Location: Luna Park, 1 Olympic Dr, Milsons Point
Cost: Free entry to the event

There will be multiple activities across the day including an NRL mascot parade, cheerleader performances, player signings, skills and drills, and a pop-up NRL Heroes and Legends Museum.

Alvaro will be available at the 1:30-3:30pm signing session.

Key Times

11am - NRL activity commences, including skills and drills, photo opportunities with the giant NRL trophy, pop up museum

11.30am - Big Top Opens: First session of player signings, Holden Claw Tester, youi Rugby League Live 4

12.30pm 0 Big Mal's Grill Truck: Special appearance by Kangaroos Head Coach Mal Meninga

1pm - NRL and Luna Park mascot parade

1.30pm - Second session of player signings

3.30pm - Big Top stage continues: Live performances, trivia, giveaways and ambassador & player chats

4.30pm - Head to Lavender Green area for the Family Zone

5.30pm - Grand Final teams are presented on stage at the Big Top

6pm - Luna Park closes

Transport

There are a number of travel options for getting to Luna Park including:

·      Car Luna Park’s car park entrance is via Paul Street (off Alfred Street)

·      Train Catch the train to Milsons Point Station (one stop from CBD) and walk down Alfred Street

·      Bus Many bus routes run to Luna Park. Hop off the bus at Alfred Street near Olympic Drive

·      Ferry Regular services run to Luna Park Wharf (Milsons Point) from Circular Quay or Darling Harbour
