The Parramatta Eels District Representative sides will be in action over the next two months with a handful of trials against the West Magpies, Penrith Panthers and Canterbury Bulldogs being held ahead of the 2018 season.

Blue & Gold fans are encouraged to spectate at the trials with a great opportunity to see plenty of talented youngsters in action across four different days, with six different grades participating.

District Representative Trial Schedule

Friday 15 December 2017 v West Magpies at Hillier Oval, Liverpool
- Under 14s: 5pm kick off
- Under 15s: 6pm kick off
- Tarsha Gale (Girls Under 18s): 7pm kick off

Saturday 16 December 2017 v Wests Magpies at Old Saleyards Reserve, North Parramatta
- Harold Matthews: 9am kick off
- SG Ball: 11am kick off

Saturday 20 January 2018 v Penrith Panthers at Blacktown Patrician Brothers High School, Blacktown
- Tarsha Gale: 9am kick off (Field Two)
- Under 15s: 10am kick off (Field Two)
- Harold Matthews: 9am kick off (Field One)
- SG Ball: 11am kick off (Field One)

Saturday 27th January 2018 v Canterbury Bulldogs at Terry Lamb Sports Complex, Chester Hill
- Tarsha Gale: 9am kick off
- Under 15s: 10am kick off
- Under 17s Development squad: 11am kick off
- Harold Matthews: 12pm kick off
- SG Ball: 1:15pm kick off

The trials will form a major part of the Blue & Gold District Representative side selection criteria, before the squads are finalised ahead of their respective competitions getting underway on the 10th February 2018.

In the 2017 season, the Parramatta Eels SG Ball side were crowned the 2017 SG Ball Champions as well as the Under 18 National Champions, the Harold Matthews side progressed through to the preliminary Final whilst the inaugural Parramatta Eels Tarsha Gale Nines side progress through to the Semi Final.
