The Parramatta Eels have today announced Dean Feeney as the 2018 Blue & Gold Jersey Flegg Head Coach for the 2018 Jersey Flegg season.

Feeney was the Parramatta Eels Under 20s Assistant Coach in 2017 when the young Blue & Gold side progressed through to the Holden Cup Grand Final.

“It’s an honour to be the Head Coach of the Jersey Flegg team,” said Feeney.

“I’m incredibly proud of what the boys achieved last year, we have a talented young squad and I’m looking forward to building on their success together this season.”

Feeney has named a 40 man squad for his 2018 season, featuring several players from the 2017 season who are still eligible for the Under 20s competition along with a handful of players from the highly successful Parramatta Eels SG Ball side who have made the transition to Jersey Flegg.

The Jersey Flegg side kick off their season when they take on the Penrith Panthers at Panthers Stadium in Sunday 11 March in Round One.
