Eels re-sign Nathan Brown

The Parramatta Eels Rugby League Club has re-signed forward Nathan Brown for three years, extending his contract until the end of the 2020 season, with an option to extend his contract until the end of the 2021 season.

Brown joined Parramatta Eels in 2017, and has become one of the most consistent players on the team, earning him the prestigious Ken Thornett Medal voted by his teammates as the NRL Player of the Year.

Parramatta Eels Head Coach Brad Arthur said he was excited the Club has retained one our best forwards, “Nathan has developed into one of our most consistent performers. He brings a great deal of power and aggression to the team and I’m looking forward to seeing him continue his great form this season.”

A fan favourite, Nathan won the Blue and Gold Army Members’ Player of the Year award in 2017, and Tackle of the Year at the NRL’s Dally M Medal Awards.

Nathan made his NRL debut in 2013 with the West Tigers followed by a stint at South Sydney. He made his representative debut for the City team in 2017 and was selected in the 2017 Italian Rugby League World Cup squad.
