Alvaro charged by Match Review Committee

Parramatta Eels forward Daniel Alvaro has been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee following the Club’s Round Two clash against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles at Lottoland on Sunday 18 March.

Alvaro was charged for Grade One Dangerous Contact – Head/Neck for a tackle in the 34th minute of the clash involving Sea Eagles Brian Kelly.

Alvaro’s charge has a base penalty of 100 points for the offence.

An early guilty plea will see Alvaro available to play next week while a guilty finding at the judiciary would see Alvaro miss 1 week of the competition.

The Club has until 12:00pm Tuesday to respond to the charge.
