50-50 Charity Raffle
On Saturday the 24th March, the Parramatta Eels launched their partnership with the 50-50 Charity Raffle with the program used to support the Club’s 11 charities throughout the 2018 NRL season.
At each Eels home game at ANZ Stadium in 2018, the 50-50 Raffle will raise money for the Parramatta Eels Charity Partner for the selected game.
The total proceeds of all 50-50 tickets sold at each game go into a prize pool, with 50% of the prize pool going to the lucky winner of the random draw and 50% being donated to the nominated Charity Partner (-10% administration fee from 50-50).
In Round 3, the Club worked along side the Mannah Foundation to raise much needed funds for the Compassion project, building a development centre in Uganda.
Thanks to the generous support from the Members and fans in attendance at the Round Three Sydney Double Header, the Mannah Foundation received $1,888.47.
The total prize pool reached $4,720 with the winner, Ian Watling, walking away with $2,360.
Ian, who spent the day at the football followed by the Easter Show, was ecstatic to be selected as the winner, using the winning prize to cover expenses for a recent holiday to Melbourne.
In the upcoming Round Five clash against the Penrith Panthers at ANZ Stadium on Sunday 8 April, the 50-50 Charity Raffle will be raising funds to go towards the Ronald McDonald House Westmead.
