Williams suffers season ending injury

The Parramatta Eels can confirm that Tony Williams has suffered a season ending knee injury following yesterday's victory against the Wests Tigers.

Scans have confirmed that he has suffered a rupture of his Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) on his right knee.

Tony had made a strong start to the season after recovering from an ACL injury to his left knee in 2017.

Tony will consult with our medical staff over the next few days regarding the next steps for his recovery and rehabilitation.

The Parramatta Eels will continue to support him during this time and wish him all the best on his recovery.
