Earlier this year, the Parramatta Eels launched their partnership with Parramatta Mission.

On Wednesday 10 May, Parramatta Mission held their second event for the year at the Parramatta Mission Youth Hub. The Youth Hub located in Parramatta Town Square, provides intake into Outreach and Early Intervention Case Management, Crisis accommodation and referral pathways to transitional accommodation.

NRL player, Kirisome Auva'a, attended the night and spoke highly of the partnership and the event. "To put a smile on the kids faces and show them that someone genuinely cares is something I am most grateful for. I think its important for us to lend a hand in the community and events like this can really make a difference. I'm really privileged to be apart of this" Auva'a said.

The partnership has two upcoming events scheduled for:
• 11th July - NADIOC Week
• 8th August - Homeless Week

Outback Steakhouse Wentworthville were again present at the event, donating the food and providing a chef to cook the bbq.
