Parramatta Eels player Nathan Brown has officially been announced as ambassador for Eels Charity partner, The Children's Hospital at Westmead.
Nathan commenced his first official duties as ambassador on Friday 11 May with an appearance at The Children's Hospital for International Nurses day.
International Nurses Day is a chance to recognise and thank nurses for the invaluable contribution they make to healthcare, not just at The Children's Hospital Westmead, but all around the world.
Nursing staff were treated to a BBQ lunch which was kindly cooked and donated by the Outback Steakhouse, Wentworthville.
Nathan spoke highly of the day and the partnership saying " I feel really privileged to be given the opportunity to be an ambassador for the Children's Hospital. To be apart of events such as today that recognise the hard work that nurses put in is really powerful and something I feel strongly about".
At the round 15 game on Thursday 14 June against South Sydney Rabbitohs at ANZ Stadium, the 50-50 charity raffle will be raising funds for The Children's Hospital, Westmead.
