The Wheelchair Rugby League Australia Interstate Challenge is the prime Australian wheelchair rugby league event, showcasing the best playing talent currently from the New South Wales and Queensland Wheelchair Rugby League codes. Our version of the NRL's "State of Origin", players are selected to represent their state in which they played their first senior Wheelchair Rugby League game.

The series started in 2015 and has made its mark as one of the premier events. In 2018, the Interstate Challenge will make history by being held on the same day and location as an NRL "State of Origin" Game for the first time. Not only this, but the event will also be held for the first time in Sydney.
