King jumps at Northcott ambassador opportunity

King jumps at opportunity to become Northcott ambassador

Earlier this week, Parramatta Eels hooker Cameron King visited Eels Charity Partner Northcott's facilities, spending time with their clients, posing for photos, signing autographs and learning about wheelchair rugby league.

King, who became the Club's ambassador for Northcott earlier this year, says the opportunity to take up the role and spend time with the clients was an easy one.

"I really enjoying giving back to the community and when the opportunity for this ambassador role at Northcott came up, it was something I really jumped at," King said.

"I have found Northcott does some really great work for the kids and I really enjoy coming down and spending some time with them."

"It means a lot for me to come down here. The guys got to show me how they participate in their sports and how they play their version of wheelchair rugby," King added.

"They got me involved as well, gave me a couple of hit ups and a couple of runs. It was a lot rougher than I thought it would have been!"

"Obviously there are a lot of Parramatta fans here, which is good to see them involved which was really nice."
