Western Sydney Stadium update

Hello Members,

We wanted to address your concerns regarding a few West Tigers Members being granted access to the new Western Sydney Stadium (WSS) and give you context about why this opportunity has not yet been offered to Parramatta Eels Members.

The Tigers were granted limited access because they have completed their commercial agreement with the Stadium operators, VenuesLive. Their agreement includes swapping their four games from ANZ Stadium to WSS for the 2019 season.

Given that the Parramatta Eels will be an anchor tenant of WSS and our commercial agreement will cover many years and many more games per season than other tenants, our negotiations with the WSS operator, VenuesLive, are very extensive and cover a range of important issues including food & beverage, pricing, interaction with our Parramatta Leagues Club precinct, transportation plans, customer experience, membership seating and corporate hospitality.

Since WSS will be our new long term, home ground, it is important that we undertake appropriate due diligence on all these issues before completing our agreement – this will ensure all the relevant issues are addressed. These negotiations are progressing well and once they have been completed it is our intention to provide our Members a number of opportunities to get to know our new home.

We hope this helps to alleviate some of your concerns; please be assured we are working diligently to ensure our return home to Parramatta is the absolute best experience for our Members and commercial partners.
