Jennings charged by Match Review Committee

Parramatta Eels centre Michael Jennings has today been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee following the Club’s Round One clash against the Penrith Panthers at Panthers Stadium on Sunday 17 March.

Jennings was charged with a Grade Two – Careless High Tackle in the 54th minute of the clash involving Panthers forward Isaah Yeo.

Jennings’ charge has a base penalty of 150 points for the offence.

Jennings is set to miss one match if he pleads guilty or is found guilty at the judiciary.

The Club has until 12pm Tuesday to respond to the charge.

Panthers centre Waqa Blake was also charged by the NRL Match Review Committee following the clash for a grade one contract conduct charge for pushing Eels half Mitchell Moses in the 59th minute of the game.
