Sivo enters early guilty plea

Parramatta Eels winger Maika Sivo has today entered an early guilty plea for a Grade Three High Tackle – Careless following the Club’s Round Nine clash against the Melbourne Strom at Suncorp Stadium for NRL’s Magic Round.

Sivo was charged by the NRL Match Review Committee for a tackle on Storm fullback Jahrome Hughes in the 49th minute of the clash.

The early guilty plea sees Sivo miss one week of the competition (the upcoming Eels v North Queensland Cowboys clash at 1300SMILES Stadium, Townsville in Round 10).

Sivo will be available for selection in Round 11 when the Eels clash with the Penrith Panthers at Bankwest Stadium on Thursday 23 May.
