The Parramatta Eels NRL Touch Premiership sides have come away with victories in their Round Four clashes against the Sydney Roosters at Bankwest Stadium on Saturday 15 June.
The Women’s side kicked off the action to claim a dominant 9-2 victory over the Roosters and continue to strengthen their position at the top of the table, still undefeated at this point of the season.
Aaliyah Paki and Laura Peattie scoring a double whilst Hannah Dyball, Danielle Davis, Samantha Rodgers, Elesha Te Pea and Brittny Clifford also crossed in the dominant victory.
The Men’s side followed up the Women’s victory with a nailbiting 6-5 victory over the Roosters, claiming their first victory of the season after four rounds.
The Eels had a 3-2 lead after the opening half before holding off the fast finishing Roosters to score a try in the final minute of play through Simon Lang to secure the win.
The Eels v Roosters clash at Bankwest Stadium was the final home game of the season for the Eels with clashes against the Warriors (Sunday 30 June at Mt Smart Stadium) and against the Titans (Sunday 21 July at Cbus Super Stadium) the last two games of the regular season.
The semi finals kick off on Sunday 11 August before the grand final on Sunday 18 August.
