Match Highlights: Dragons v Eels, Round 20

Parramatta Eels second rower Manu Ma’u has been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee following the Club’s Round 20 clash against the St. George Illawarra Dragons at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium on Sunday 4 August.

Ma’u has been charged with a Grade One High Tackle – Careless following a tackle on Dragons fullback Corey Norman in the 36th minute of the clash.

The base penalty for the charge is $1,500, but can be reduced to $1,150 with an early guilty plea.

Ma'u will be available for selection in the Eels upcoming Round 21 clash against the Newcastle Knights at Bankwest Stadium.

Despite being sin binned and placed on report during the clash, Parramatta Eels forward Kane Evans was not charged.

 **** UPDATE (Tuesday 6 August) - Manu Ma'u has entered an early guilty plea for a Grade One High Tackle - Careless. He will be available for selection in the Eels upcoming Round 21 clash.
