Just when you thought the last week couldn't get any better for the Parramatta Eels, a Mitchell Moses effort on Sunday has been voted Try of the Week.

Among the shortlist of four tries from Week 1 of the NRL finals and Round 1 of the NRLW competition, the four-pointer scored by Moses attracted almost half of the votes.

Brad Takairangi and Reed Mahoney were major factors in the try - one of 11 scored on the day by the Eels.

Moses finished narrowly ahead of a try scored by Roosters utility Mitchell Aubusson.

Star trio Cooper Cronk, Luke Keary and James Tedesco contributed heavily to that try.

The two remaining nominees were scored by Warriors NRLW player Atawhai Tupaea and Sharks outside back Josh Morris.
