Maika Sivo's 2019 Report Card

Sivo's stunning rookie year

Maika Sivo sent shockwaves through the competition in his rookie NRL year.

The 26-year-old only picked up the game a few years ago when he moved from Fiji to Australia.

He finished 2019 as the leading try scorer, with 22 to his name.

The big winger played a big part in the Eels success, running an average of 146.3 metres each game.

Sivo was surprised ahead of Father’s Day, when his dad Joeli flew over to watch him play rugby league for the first time live at a stadium.

He has been named for Fiji to play in the 2019 Rugby League World Cup 9s.
