The Parramatta Eels will kick off the 2020 NRL Telstra Premiership this Thursday 12 March when they clash with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at Bankwest Stadium for the season opener!
With a huge night planned for the opening game of the season, Blue & Gold Members and fans are encouraged to attend this Thursday night, thanks to our match day sponsor Parramatta City Council.
Gates will open at 6:30pm with the Eels v Bulldogs NRL clash kicking off at 7:50pm.

ROUND ONE FOR ALL
The Eels and the NRL will celebrate a Round One for All which aims to recognise and raise funds for all those that have volunteered, sacrificed or lost so much through the recent natural disasters.
The Salvation Army will be at Bankwest Stadium Thursday night to collect much needed donations for those effected through natural disasters.
A pre-game ceremony will honour volunteers of the New South Wales Rural Fire Service.

GETTING TO THE GAME
More than 25,000 NRL fans are expected to attend the first Eels home game at Bankwest Stadium for the 2020 season. Trains and buses run regularly to Parramatta and the station is a 15 minute walk from the stadium. Match tickets include travel on public transport so leave the car at home as traffic will already be heavy during the busy Thursday evening peak so allow plenty of extra travel time if you have to drive.

MEMBERSHIP
The Parramatta Eels Membership Team will be available in the precinct of Bankwest Stadium, located near Gate B and also inside the concourse located outside Gate D selling 2020 Memberships and to assist with any Membership queries.
2020 Eels Members can collect their Member Cap and Member Choice item (if applicable) at Round One. Members can pick their items up from the Membership Marquee outside Gate B. Please bring your Voucher or Membership Card when picking up your items.
The Eels Ticket Box outside Gate B will be open from 6:15pm and is available for any Eels Ticket Collections or Game Day enquiries.

COMMUNITY
The opening week of the 2020 NRL competition will be a dedicated "Bushfire Appeal Round" to raise money for victims and honour emergency services personnel and volunteers.
The move is just one element of a coordinated response from the major arms of the rugby league family to help those affected by the bushfire devastation.
Salvation Army will be in the precinct with the Rescue Truck & Trailer and will be collecting gold coins as part of the NRL wide dedicated round to raise money for victims and honour emergency services personnel and volunteers.
PRE GAME ACTIVITY AND ENTERTAINMENT
There will be plenty of pre-game activity and a buzz of excitement around the grounds of Bankwest Stadium for our season opener this Thursday night! Check out some of the activity below.
Precinct
Visit our Membership tent to assist with any Membership queries and questions you may have ahead of the season.
Check out the rides and inflatables with a football challenge, jumping castle, mechanical football, motion sports games.
There will also be a Telstra AR photo booth for Blue & Gold Members and fans to take their photos at, along with a Chill out zone, music by Sebastian Thomas duo and the return of the Parramatta Eels Human Statue.

On Field
There will be plenty of activity before and during the NRL clash!
Catch the Narooma Devils pre game as they take on the Hills District Bulls & Rouse Hill Rhinos in some junior league action.
The Parramatta Eels Cheerleaders will also be back in 2020 for their first appearance performing pre game and at half time.
