Brown charged by Match Review Committee

Parramatta Eels lock Nathan Brown has been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee following the Eels Round Six clash against the Sydney Roosters at Bankwest Stadium on Saturday 20 June.

Brown has been charged with a Grade 2 High Tackle – Careless for an incident with Roosters forward Victor Radley in the 64th minute of the clash.

His charge has a base penalty of 200 points, however has 17 carry over points to be added following a prior non-similar offence in the last two years.

Brown faces a fortnight on the sidelines irrespective of an early guilty plea unless he can prove his innocence over a 64th-minute tackle on Roosters lock Victor Radley in Saturday night’s loss by Parramatta at Bankwest Stadium. 

Roosters Radley was also charged by the Match Review Committee and faces a fine for a high shot of his own on Eels skipper Clint Gutherson from a tackle in the 56th minute.
