Man of the Match: Eels v Raiders, Round Seven

The Parramatta Eels came away with a thrilling 25-24 golden point victory over the Canberra Raiders in Round Seven of the NRL Telstra Premiership.

Following the clash, the Blue & Gold Army voted Clint Gutherson as the Eels Match of the Match!

Eels fullback Clint Gutherson secured the victory with the boot, slotting over the field goal in golden point to secure the two points, but the Blue & Gold captain also had 144m from 22 runs, 2 line break assists, two try assists, 5 tackles and two conversions.

Blake Ferguson topped the run metres amongst the Eels backline with 170m from 21 runs whilst Michael Jennings 149m and try was also crucial.

Up front, Reagan Campbell-Gillard led the way with 238m from 23 runs (114 post contact metres) and 49 tackles whilst Junior Paulo finished with 173m from 18 runs and 31 tackles.

Forwards Shaun Lane (184m and 42 tackles), Ryan Matterson (121m, 39 tackles and a try) and Marata Niukore (149m and 41 tackles) also impressed.
