Game Day Guide: Sea Eagles v Eels, Round Ten

The Parramatta Eels face the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles at Lottoland on Saturday 18 July in Round 10 of the NRL Telstra Premiership.

The Blue & Gold will be searching for their ninth win of the season, after coming off a 10-4 victory over the Knights last week, whilst the Sea Eagles will be looking to bounce back after a 34-4 defeat to the Dragons last week.

With this clash being an away game for the Eels, Blue & Gold Members and fans are encouraged to show their support for the team online!

Here are all the details you need to know ahead of kick off!

Team Changes

Blue & Gold Head Coach Brad Arthur has named with the same 21 man squad with Eels forward Stefano Utoikamanu cleared by NRL biosecurity for COVID-19, and able to return to training this week.

The Sea Eagles have Morgan Boyle (groin) out, along with stars Tom Trbojevic and Dylan Walker, with Taniela Paseka starting at prop and Corey Waddell joining the bench.

The Eels sit first on the ladder whilst the Sea Eagles sit 10th after losing three games straight.

History

The Eels hold the slight head to head advantage over the Sea Eagles recently, with 20 wins from 36 games since 1998. The Eels had a 19-16 victory over the Sea Eagles in Round Four of this season, with a forward pass ruled late that denied the Sea Eagles victory at the death.

The Eels have won the last two clashes between the two sides.
