The Parramatta Eels suffered a Round 16 defeat to the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Bankwest Stadium on Thursday 27 August.
Whilst never easy after a loss, the Blue & Gold Army voted on who they thought was the best Eels’ player on field and had the best performance, brought to you by My Muscle Chef!
After 48 hours of voting, the votes could not be split with fullback Clint Gutherson and half Dylan Brown both polling 27% of the votes!
Despite not being on the right side of the scoreboard, Eels fullback and captain Clint Gutherson continued to put his best foot forward. Gutherson finished with 196m from 16 runs, 59 post contact metres, two tackle breaks, 2 offloads and 10 tackles.
Young half Dylan Brown, who suffered an ankle injury during the clash had 84 runs from 9 runs, two tackle breaks and 20 tackles during his 55 minutes of action.
Nathan Brown came in third with 14% of the votes after his 121m from 15 runs, 1 tackle break and 48 tackles during his 75 minutes on the field.
