The Parramatta Eels are pleased to announce Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park as its 2021 Membership partner on a new multi-year deal.
The new and innovative partnership sees Featherdale, who also own Mogo Zoo, upgrade its existing relationship with the Eels that began in 2019.
The 2021 Eels Membership program launches this week and gives families access to a ‘Family Zone’ bundled membership offer.
The membership package will bring Featherdale to life on game days, throughout digital and major events.
When we make friends, it's for life
Featherdale Managing Director and Zookeeper Chad Staples welcomed the partnership.
“Featherdale is excited to be teaming up with the Paramatta Eels as Membership Partner for the next two years,” Staples said.
“With two iconic Western Sydney organisations coming together, it’s a great opportunity for families to enjoy the atmosphere at Eels games and encounter over 2,000 amazing native Australian animals under one family pass,” he said.
Eels Head of Commercial Partnerships Andrew Mikhail believes it’s a perfect fit.
“In 2020 the Parramatta Eels had the largest Membership growth of any Club across the NRL and AFL,” Mikhail said.
“Part of our growth strategy is a recognition that our Member and fan base have a variety of interests alongside their passion for the Eels and Rugby League,” he said.
65 per cent of the Eels’ fanbase lives within 20km of Bankwest Stadium, making the partnership even more significant in reaching Western Sydney.
“By delivering a dedicated Membership offer that provides dual access to the Eels and Featherdale/Mogo Zoo, both organisations have partnered together to add significant value to our Members and fans,” Mikhail said.
The Eels look forward to announcing a number of new partnerships in the coming months, which focus on providing business solutions for our partners and enhancing our fans’ experience.
