Eels' Easter Monday clash moved by Tigers

The Parramatta Eels' traditional Easter Monday clash has been moved to Stadium Australia in 2021 by Wests Tigers.

The annual fixture was originally scheduled to be played at Bankwest Stadium in Round 4.

Wests Tigers worked with VenuesLive and the NRL to move the fixture to the former Olympic venue.

The shift will allow for a higher number of fans to attend the game.

Both teams missed out on the traditional clash in 2020 due to COVID-19.

The last time the Eels and Tigers played on Easter Monday was in 2019 at the official opening of Bankwest Stadium, when the Eels won 51-6.

Tickets for the Easter Monday match will go on sale in the near future.
