Cartwright suffers broken jaw

Parramatta Eels recruit Bryce Cartwright has been sidelined after a training accident.

During training this week, Cartwright suffered a broken jaw which will see him miss this week's trial against the St George Illawarra Dragons.

Coach Brad Arthur had planned to play the 26-year-old for the first time in Blue and Gold colours on Thursday.

The Club will assess Bryce’s progress in the coming days to determine the extent of his injury and how long he will be sidelined for.
