Four Parramatta Eels players will miss Round One against the Brisbane Broncos, with three injured and one suspended.
Michael Oldfield suffered an MCL sprain in the Eels' trial game against the Dragons in February.
Meanwhile, Bryce Cartwright is still out after suffering a fractured jaw during training.
Front rower Ray Stone will also miss the first game of the season, after suffering a knee injury.
