The Parramatta Eels are pleased to announce new 2021 MCs for the Club’s home games at Bankwest Stadium.
The time has come to join the Blue and Gold under lights as we celebrate our first home game of the season!
Katie Brown and Zac Bailey will take over hosting duties, staring with the Eels’ Round Two game against the Melbourne Storm on Thursday 18 March.
The pair will bring to life our beloved home games at Bankwest Stadium with their passion for the game and love of entertainment.
Katie is a sports journalist who is currently a presenter on Sydney’s 1170 SEN radio network and previously worked for NRL.com, ABC Grandstand and the Seven Network.
“There’s nothing better than a great atmosphere at live rugby league games and I feel responsible in making the experience a good one for fans .... along with a Parramatta win of course,” Katie said.
“I can’t wait to being the fun vibes to the stadium and make it even more entertaining,” she said.
Zac is a reporter for NRL.com, covering some of the game’s biggest stories and previously worked for Fox Sports.
“I’m extremely grateful to be given the opportunity to be an MC for the Eels in 2021 alongside Katie Brown,” Zac said.
“I’ve always loved going to Bankwest Stadium and watching the footy from the stands as a fan or in a working capacity, so I can’t wait to see what it’s like being part of the action down on the field.
“Game day is a lot of fun and you get a huge adrenaline rush when you hear the roars and cheers from the fans.
“I also love the unpredictability of live sport as you have to be prepared for anything on game day,” Zac said.
The pair will be at the helm of the Eels’ new entertainment including Thursday Night Lights, Friday Footy Fest games and our Feel Good Sunday blockbusters.
With fans being so close to the action and brand-new game day initiatives, you’ll want to experience one of the best atmospheres in Australian Sport at the Eels’ 11 home games.
Following the Club’s Round Two clash, the Eels play the Cronulla Sharks in Round Three on 27 March at 7:35pm for Saturday Sounds.
In Round Five, the Eels host the St George Illawarra Dragons on Sunday 11 April at 6:15pm; a Family Day, an evening of footy and fun for the whole family.
Don’t miss out on your tickets to see the Eels live in action in 2021.
