Two Eels charged by NRL Match Review Committee

Parramatta Eels Dylan Brown and Clint Gutherson have been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee following their team's Round Five loss to the St George Illawarra Dragons.

Five-eighth Dylan Brown is facing a two-week ban after being charged with a crusher tackle offence.

The match review committee issued a grade one charge over a 17th-minute tackle on forward Tyrell Fuimaono.

An early guilty plea would reduce the suspension to one match.

Meanwhile, fullback Clint Gutherson was handed a grade one careless high tackle charge.

He's is line for a fine ($1150-$1500) unless found not guilty at the judiciary.
