Moses and Matterson Extend with Eels

The Parramatta Eels are pleased to announce that the Club and our halfback, Mitchell Moses, have agreed to terms on a contract extension, to the end of 2024.

Ryan Matterson has exercised his option for the 2022 NRL season.

Moses joined the Club in the middle of 2017 and has played a big part in the transformation of the team in recent years.

He had an outstanding 2019 season, earning him the prestigious Ken Thornett Medal as the Club’s player of the year, while also being awarded the Dally M halfback of the year.

General Manager of Football, Mark O’Neill said “I would like to congratulate Mitch on his new deal which is exciting news for everyone at the Club, in particular our members and fans”.

“Mitch is an integral part of the team, he is in career best form and has developed not only as a player but as a leader as well. We are excited that Mitch will continue to lead our squad in the coming years as we aim for a premiership”.

"Ryan is also part of our Player Leadership Group, has played over 100 NRL matches and is adding great value both on and off the field," O'Neill said.
