Reed Mahoney has been sidelined indefinitely with a shoulder injury he suffered in the Eels' Round 13 game against the Newcastle Knights.

The Eels' hooker had scans, which confirmed damage to his shoulder capsule.

Reed has commenced rehab and his return to play is unknown at this stage.

Ray Stone also remains sidelined with an ankle injury.
