Eel faces ban ahead of finals

Eels forward Keegan Hipgrave is facing a ban of one or two matches after being charged with a careless high tackle on Penrith's James Fisher-Harris.

Hipgrave is facing a suspension over the tackle from the 10th minute of Friday night's loss to the Panthers.

He will miss the first week of the finals if he enters an early guilty plea and would risk a two-match ban if he unsuccessfully fights the charge at the judiciary.
