Parramatta Leagues and the Parramatta Eels mourn the passing of Eels Life Member and former Deputy Chairman Sid Kelly (Saidley Peter) OAM.
Sid was a passionate Eels supporter who was a sponsor of the football Club for well over three decades and served on both the Leagues Club and Football Club Boards as Deputy Chairman. His involvement in the Club was significant for many years before serving as a Director and he was elected as Life Member of the Football Club in 2012.
Beyond his contribution for the Eels, Sid was known for his passionate support of charities across the Hawkesbury for which he was acknowledged with an OAM in 2008.
