Eels women impress selectors for National Championships

Six Parramatta Eels women have been selected to play in the upcoming Harvey Norman Women’s National Championships.

The competition will kick off on June 9th and run to June 12th at Pizzey Park on the Gold Coast.

Four Parrramatta Eels Tarsha Gale Cup players, Petesa Lio, Rosemarie Beckett, Ruby-Jean Kennard and Tahleisha Maeva have been selected for NSW City Under 19s Womens.

While Petalina Atoa and Ameena Kanj have been selected to play for Victoria in the Under 19s Womens.

The Harvey Norman NSW Country Under 19s and NSW City Under 19s squads have been chosen from the Harvey Norman Tarsha Gale Cup.

Players will have the chance to push their selection claims for the Harvey Norman NSW Under 19s team to face Queensland during the Ampol State of Origin series next month.

The Harvey Norman NSW Country Under 19s and NSW City Under 19s squads will train at Ignite HQ Centre of Excellence on Sunday 22 May.
