Eels at 2022 NRL Indigenous Youth Leadership Summit

The Parramatta Eels are pleased to announce four young leaders who will represent the Club and community at the 2022 NRL All Stars Indigenous Youth Summit in Sydney.

The Summit coincides with Indigenous Round celebrations, giving the young leaders an opportunity to become better informed about career aspirations and connection to culture.

Amerita, Chad, Jade, Zayne were identified as young leaders from local schools and selected to represent the Parramatta Eels from the successful NRL School to Work program.

The program is funded by the Australian Government and supported by the Club to support Indigenous students in achieving their education and employment goals with a focus on connection to culture.

Amerita, Chad, Jade, Zayne will join 60 other Indigenous young leaders from across Australia and New Zealand in the week-long Summit.

Celebrations include participating in cultural, leadership and community workshops with a focus on cultural customs and traditions.
