The Parramatta Eels have partnered with NSW Government to bring the game day experience alive next week against the Roosters at CommBank Stadium.
One of Australia’s biggest artists, DJ Havana Brown, will be performing live sets at our upcoming home game next Saturday night during pre-game and half-time shows.
The NSW Government has invested in the Greater Sydney 24-Hour Economy Strategy, which aims to enhance the fan experience with music and entertainment.
Parramatta Eels CEO Jim Sarantinos said, “Our Members have missed almost two years of live sport due to the pandemic, so we’re thankful to be able to collaborate with the NSW Government to give our fans a wonderful game day experience they deserve, while also helping boost the local economy.
“Parramatta is already one of the busiest and most exciting areas of Western Sydney, but this initiative will bring our home stadium to life and give our fans a really fun experience with world class entertainment”.
This pilot program is part of the 24-Hour Economy Strategy, which recognises that sports lovers are an integral part of the going out economy.
Minister for Enterprise, Investment and Trade Stuart Ayres said, “As we encourage our communities to get back out there, this pilot is about creating reasons for sports fans to arrive earlier and stay longer, and in doing so provide a welcome boost to local businesses, performers and artists by driving spending and supporting jobs,” Mr Ayres said.
Havana Brown will be performing her pre-game live set with an open air dance floor from 6:30pm at the precinct at Commbank Stadium (outside Gate B), and a half-time show supported by visual effects in the stadium.
