The Parramatta Eels would like to congratulate Eels juniors Blaize Talagi and Sam Tuivati who were named in the 2022 Australian Schoolboy Rugby League team following the Australian Secondary Schoolboys Rugby League (ASSRL) championships in Redcliffe this past week.
Blaize and Sam, both students of Westfields Sports High, had strong tournaments for the NSW Combined High Schools (CHS) team which lost the Grand Final to the eventual winners - QLD. The Eels had 11 players at the ASSRL championships across the open’s and 15’s tournaments with a number delivering strong performances.
These players will now enter our Development squad system in preparation for the 2023 season.
