The Parramatta Eels are bringing a huge line up of footy and music to CommBank Stadium this Saturday 20th August, teaming up with SOUND WEST Music + Technology Festival.
The Parramatta Eels host the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in Round 23 of the NRL, while the NRLW Parramatta squad will be one of the headline acts at CommBank Stadium, as they kick off their second season against reigning premiers the Sydney Roosters.
NRLW Co-captain Simaima Taufa is looking forward to running onto the field with her team and playing in front of a passionate home crowd.
“It’s exciting to get the opportunity to play at home surrounded by our loved ones and be surrounded by our fans,” she said.
“I think CommBank Stadium is unreal to be a part of. It’s so close, it’s intimate, you get goosebumps running out of the sheds.”
The Blue and Gold Alliance, also known as the Old Boys (which consists of about 120 past players and officials), will also host a reunion event before they are acknowledged with a lap of honour just before kick-off of the NRL match.
It is expected to be a sell-out crowd with fans urged to arrive early to soak in the atmosphere of all three matches and the entertainment in and around the stadium.
Footy fans will be entertained with halftime shows from hip-hop sensations Masked Wolf and A.Girl, as part of Saturday Sounds x Sound West.

The Membership Team will be located internally at CommBank Stadium, where they will be present at the Member Services Outlet located at Gate D and in the Membership Marquee in the concourse.
The Eels Ticket Box outside Gate B will be open from 5:00pm and is available for any Eels Ticket Collections or Game Day enquiries.

Transport
Whether driving or taking public transport, fans should plan to arrive early to Parramatta and plan their trip using the Transport for NSW Trip Planner here.

Trains run regularly to Parramatta Station which is a 15-minute walk from the stadium
Buses run regularly to the interchange at Parramatta Station and some services make stops outside the stadium on O’Connell St.
Roads around the stadium will close at the end of the game to allow crowds to safely leave the precinct so be patient and follow the directions of traffic controllers and police.
Is your Plan B sorted?
Wherever you’re watching the game, if you drink, you’ll need a Plan B to get home. Be the real MVP of the night and don’t drink drive.
