Parramatta Eels Announce New Coaching Staff

The Parramatta Eels are pleased to announce the addition of two new coaches to the Club’s football program.

 

Eels veteran of 259 games Nathan Cayless will join the Club in 2023 as head coach of the Knock On Effect NSW Cup team.

Cayless was a one club player from 1997 to 2010 for the Eels and will begin his role in the pre-season.

 

Meanwhile, Steve Antonelli joins the NRL coaching staff alongside Steve Murphy and Trent Barrett as Brad Arthur’s assistant coaches.

Steve has spent the last year with the South Sydney Rabbitohs coaching staff.

 

General Manager of Football Mark O’Neill said, “Both Steve and Nathan add great value to our football program.”

“Nathan, after gaining experience in a few different football programs, has broaden his skillset, has a strong growth mindset and it is exciting to welcome him back to the Eels’ 

“Both he and Steve are highly motivated to make positive impact towards the continuous improvement of our club.

“We look forward to welcoming them both in the near future,” O’Neill said.
