Congratulations to three Eels captains at World Cup
The Parramatta Eels would like to congratulate our three players named as captains of their countries at the Rugby League World Cup.
Junior Paulo has been named to lead Samoa, Mitch Moses will captain Lebanon and Nathan Brown will lead Italy.
It’s the first time all three players will captain their countries at a World Cup.
Parramatta Eels CEO Jim Sarantinos said it’s a testament to the quality of players the Club has produced.
“I want to offer a huge congratulations to Junior, Mitch and Nathan for their appointments as captains of their countries,” Sarantinos said.
“It’s a great reflection of the successful season the Club has had and the leadership qualities all three players demonstrate.
“I wish all our Eels representatives the best over the next six weeks of competition.
